The USARL 9s Tournament provides a full day of Rugby League action kicking off at 10am.
7 teams from up and down the east coast along with a strong Jamaican side will congregate at A.A. Garthwaite Stadium (11th & Harry Streets, Conshohocken PA 19428) on Saturday May 17th to see a new champion crowned. This will be the first USARL 9′s event not to feature the 3 time champion New Zealand Police Fencibles.
3 AMNRL squads are apart of the tournament this year including the Bucks County Sharks, and first timers the Connecticut Wildcats and the PA Bulls. Also playing for the first time are the Brooklyn Kings and the Great Plains Rugby League featuring players from Missouri and Iowa. The host Philadelphia Fight who have placed 2nd the past two years round out the field with the DC Slayers.
A full beer truck full of Victory Summer Ale and Bud Light will be on hand throughout the day along with a Chick Fil A booth full of sandwiches and nuggets. The Savory Pie Guy from NY City will be accompanying the Brooklyn Kings to bring the best meat pies from down under to the Philly area, and plenty of merchandise will be available from the teams and also the Xblades USA tent.
The after party will be held at the Fight’s home clubhouse the Valley Forge Casino Resort in the Valley Tavern and then later in Deuces Wild Bucking Bull Saloon. The Valley Forge Resort is located at 1160 First Avenue, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
Admission is $7 for adults and children under 13 are always free.

Group A: Connecticut Wildcats, DC Slayers, Great Plains RL, Glen Mills Bulls
STAGE 1: GROUP STANDINGS (1pm KICK-OFF)
Two groups (A & B) of 4 teams: Each team plays 2 games to determine final group standings. Win with <12 winning margin: 2pts | Win with 13+ winning margin: 3pts | Tie 1pt.
STAGE 2 – PLAYOFFS (5pm KICK-OFF)
